Just phoned Nic, as they have just started 2005. What a tragic end to 2004 - the mind cannot take it all in. We just thank God that none of us got caught up in it. We had a lovely drive out to Yarmouth and Freshwater today. When you see the power of the sea at Freshwater Bay you have to multiply iy by many thousands, to get any idea of the forces of nature.
Sir Matthew Pinsett and Dame Kelly Holmes sound funny now but didn't they all do well.
