hi guys. this is the house a french stone mason built and that julian will rebuild...exciting, but we're gonna need a lot of help as our mortgage was suddenly and last minute refused which was a bit of a shock, so the cote sud dream with range cooker will have to go on standby as will the gite...but it's very beautiful and scary! having a pretty strange spring here, very cold and un-blue. i am practising for an audition which was fixed up while i was in Lyon where I seem to have been a bit of a hit.
margaret, hope you are feeling better and glad you like the flowres. my mum had that op and felt like a new woman afterwards, able to go out dancing in the evening without popping to the loo every few mins.
our roly poly neighbour continues to entertain (steve you will remember) and was shouting in the street at 4am yesterday waving his horrible wife off to the states. i'm afraid we hope she will never come back. Bonnie's house - or one of them - is being built next door so there is lots of opportunity for him to stand and shout at anyone who touches his pansies. he's on permanent patrol and he seems to love it - any excuse to have a rumbling rant.
nice to hear you janet! i loved the bit about the fashion statement and remember those precious outfits and how no-one understood how truly innovative they were. i thought it might be fun if bethany, and jessica went on the blog along with my lovely step-sisters flora and arabella (just 14 and 12). i've been hoping they could meet somehow. what do you think. also maybe thomas and edmund and kate???
that's all from CLB for the mo
much love to y'all, ruthxxxxx
