The tale of a tap.
Julian - we tried to fit the tap you sent. Undo the old one, fit the new to the rising water tails and bob's your uncle. Unfortunately it seems that the installer of the sink must have fitted the tap BEFORE fitting in the sink, as it was not possible to reach the rising pipes under the old tap, as he had bodged it. It is not the simple job it should have been. We would have to disconnect the incoming water piping, undo the waste pipes, undo the sink clips and remove the whole sink. A simple matter to change the tap over and reverse the procedure. Now Mum thinks that as the tap matched the sink, a chrome tap may look wrong, so she is fatasising about a new sink - Forget it. I'll show you what I mean. Love Dad
