Blue Bush

Common name Californian Lilac (Ceanothus Arboreus) evergreen leaves. Not very hardy - needs protection of a wall. Height 13ft (4 metres) Small sky blue scented flowers, but as they grow in clusters they give an impression of a mass of blue, with little green showing. Copyright Margy MerrowSmith.

Quick work on the buzznet Julian and in subdued colours too. Memories of our trip to Cassis. What a lovely little town. We are off for a picnic today, after Mum's trip to see the urologist - Ugh!!. Beautiful weather and we are heading for St. Boniface Down above Ventnor. Got me T-shirt and sandals on! Don't forget the binoculars, Hugh. Trouble is, it is still a bit hazy over the sea. I want a photoblog too, so there. Dad and Mum
