thanks, yes wees in, very tired Ruth gone to bed we are still sleeping at Crillon as we have no phone(?) and not sure about hot water. Went out and bought a new bathroom - ie ceramic shower tray, waste, ceramic monobloc mixer tap, shower head and accompanying thingy tube, toilet (complete - close coupled, siphoned, seat, dual flush)and flashy modern sink with mixer tap - total cost £160 (after going over budget by 40%!!). Why are bathrooms so cheap in France? Answers on a postcard please to: Jaques Chirac, Matigny, Paris France 92000. Tomorrow I will start to refit/rebuild the bathroom - dying for a wee.... nighy nite, lots of love j
